Dyson is back with some updates to its three-year-old robot vacuum, the 360 Eye. The 360 Heurist was announced in Beijing today, and it brings new features like a quad-core 1.4GHz processor and eight LEDs around the top camera to help guide it in dark rooms, according to Engadget.
The new processor is said to be 20 times faster than its predecessor, which helps the machine pick up 60 percent more details about its environment. This, in turn, is supposed to help the robot avoid bumping into furniture by 50 percent. In addition to a higher nylon bristle count, Dyson also claims the vacuum has 20 percent more suction power than the original 360 Eye, although both use the same 78,000 rpm Dyson V2 digital motor.

There are three suction power settings, so the runtime varies from 40 to 80 minutes. Like its predecessor, the robot can be controlled via a companion app, but the 360 Heurist has also added voice assistant capabilities. In China, it can be controlled via the Tmall Genie, Alibaba’s competitor to the Echo.
So far, it’s set to launch in China in November for 5,490 yuan (about $800). There’s no word yet on whether it’ll be available globally. Right now, it looks like Dyson has stopped offering the old model on its website, and it’s only available through other shops like Best Buy or eBay. Maybe it’s a sign of what’s to come.

稍早，Nvidia（輝達）宣布 GeForce Now 雲端遊戲平台將優先為白金級訂閱用戶提供 60FPS 幀的穩定遊玩體驗。
根據國外《Reddit》論壇用戶的說法，在 Nvidia GeForce Now 技術支援文件中發現，未來凡是訂閱 GeForce Now 的白金會員用戶，將可以享有流暢性更佳的串流服務，例如能在多數串流遊戲以全程穩定60FPS幀數運行。
雖然 Nvidia 並沒有嚴格規定 GeForce Now 用戶自行設定串流畫質，但實際會以用戶訂閱分級進行優先級區分，舉例來說無論是白金用戶還是一般訂閱用戶都能夠自行設定 1080P、60FPS 進行串流遊玩，但如果用戶網路連線狀況不佳，或是同時間太多人登入伺服器，那官方將會以白金用戶為主，優先提供最佳畫質的串流服務，然後才輪到一般用戶。
部分 3A 級大作更是明顯，Nvidia 官方文檔指出如「電逆叛客 2077」、「刺客教條：奧德賽」等這類資源需求量大的遊戲，一般用戶將只能使用 45FPS 幀數進行串流，而白金用戶能全程穩定 60FPS 運行。
不過其他效能需求較低的遊戲，一般用戶則能以最高 55FPS 進行遊玩，同樣白金用戶還是能以 60FPS 進行串流。
